We offer semester-based classes as well as shorter workshops throughout the year. In each class, you’ll explore a variety of mediums, learn new techniques, create beautiful artworks, and develop your own unique style as your creativity comes alive.

CREATE IN AN INSPIRING STUDIO
Discover a creative space designed for artists of all levels. Our studio is filled with natural light and surrounded by inspiring art, providing the perfect environment to focus and create. It’s fully equipped with professional easels, spacious wooden tables, pottery wheels, two art sinks, a front gallery room, and a bathroom for convenience. The studio is located in South Huntington Beach, just half a mile from the ocean, close to Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.
Our plein air landscape classes and workshops take place in inspiring outdoor settings at beautiful parks and beaches across Orange County.

Most of our classes are held at the HAA Studio, located at 8610 Hamilton Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646. Our plein air landscape classes and workshops take place at beautiful parks and beaches across Orange County.
After registering for a class online, please bring a check or cash to the first class. Ensure that the student's name is clearly written on either the envelope or the memo space on the check.
Yes! If you would like to join a class mid-semester, you can register through our website and pay a prorated amount for the remainder of the semester.

Students can park in the 8 parking spots in front of and to the left of our studio. Please do not park beyond the sign placed in front of the studio. If all spots are taken, there is street parking available.
We have a waitlist for all of our sold-out classes. It is very common that spots will open up in the weeks prior to a class starting, so if you would like to be notified of an opening, register for the class to be placed on the waitlist!
Our classes are carefully designed with age-appropriate projects, instruction styles, and peer groups in mind. The age ranges help ensure that each student is set up for success—both artistically and socially. For this reason, we ask that students register only for classes within the posted age group. We offer a variety of classes for students of all ages, so there's something for everyone!
