Note: This sign up period is for the Fall semester. The class runs throughout the school year (two 15-week semesters). You commit and pay one semester at a time by signing up and paying the registration fee. (You will need to pay the registration fee each semester.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this class students will learn traditional techniques and methods of oil painting and then develop their personal style and process. Class subjects will be on color theory, light logic, perspective, composition, mark-making, and more. Throughout the year, students will paint from Old Master artworks, plaster casts, still-lifes, plants/trees, live-portrait models, and photographs. Students will also work on personal painting projects with their own intent or goals for their art. This is a really informative and fun art class for beginners and advanced artists alike to develop as an artist and progress in their skills and creativity.

Cancellations for classes may only be refunded as credit towards another class or workshop. Any issued credit must be used toward a class or workshop within 6 months of the original purchase date.
