Note: This sign up period is for the Spring semester. The class runs throughout the school year (two 15-week semesters). You commit and pay one semester at a time by signing up and paying the registration fee. (You will need to pay the registration fee each semester.) GRADES Grades 3rd – 6th TIME Wednesdays 10:45am – 12:15pm 1.5 hours per week INSTRUCTOR Chapman Hamborg COURSE DESCRIPTION Learn to draw, paint and sculpt while studying art movements and styles throughout art history. We will cover a wide range of styles and movements, focusing on different artists and their work. Throughout this course students will get to work in a wide range of mediums including graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor, pastels, clay and more. While exploring these various mediums student’s will be building a foundation in their skill level and techniques. MATERIALS Supplies will be purchased by the student. You can purchase these supplies at Art Supply Warehouse, or from our amazon store front. CLASS DURATION Spring 2026 15-week semester: January 19, 2026 - May 22, 2026 LOCATION HAA Studio: 8610 Hamilton Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646 CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations for classes may only be refunded as credit towards another class or workshop. Any issued credit must be used toward a class or workshop within 6 months of the original purchase date. After 6 months, any remaining credit will be forfeited.
